About
Brynn Alise is a wildlife & nature photographer and conservation writer whose work explores the quiet beauty and enduring wildness of the American West. Drawing deeply from the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, the Rocky Mountains, and the West’s coastlines, her photography moves between documentary realism and a more painterly, ethereal approach, capturing moments that feel both intimate and timeless.
With a background in environmental planning and conservation, Brynn Alise pairs imagery with writing to tell the stories of wildlife, wild landscapes, and the ecosystems that sustain them. At the heart of her work is a belief that art can create connection, and that connection can inspire people to care more deeply about protecting the natural world.
Brynn is also a digital photographer and has sold over 110 1/1 pieces of photography and over 300 editions of eight images. You can find her work here.
She has also volunteered with Nature First and the Sierra Club and has donated her photography to media outlets and websites that promote conservation. From the sales of her wildlife digital art collection, “Balance in Nature”, Brynn donated over $12,000 to the Western Environmental Law Center and the Center for Biological Diversity, which both work to protect threatened and endangered species and habitats in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, where she spends most of her time.
